hi all
after few mods i'm running a chain secondary drive . the point is this :
instead the original 2,4:1 ratio i'm now running a 2,33:1 , what's the simpler way to recalibrate the speedometer ( if is possible), i have the impression that real speed is higher than how indicated.
any help welcome.
thank you all.
Alessio

The speed shown by your speedo can be alter by something as simple as a different tire profile (even if they have the
same numbers on the side) add to that the 5-10% variance common to all manufacturers your speedo could actually be more
accurate now that it was from the factory. The odds are against that, but stranger things have happened. I'd try to
borrow a GPS unit to verify my speed on a long straight stretch. Failing that have someone with a known accurate speedo
pace you to check your speed, or the old-fashioned timing between mile/kilometer markers always works.

If you do have error a lot of speed shops will have access to programmable boxes that can correct speedo errors
Hot rodders and import guys have had this problem for a while when changing wheel/tire sizes: )

I saw a speedometer calibrator in the J&P Cycles catalog:

Brand is S&S and it allows -29% to +69% in 1% increments.
