I have bought 6 different bikes from these guys-and will continue to buy from them. The shop is expensive. But if you are willing to do your own wrenching, they are great at providing advice, I highly recommend them!

They just sent me another thank you card. This time they included a 15% off coupon.

Good place

Too bad Steve retired...

Don't know if you knew - but Russ died. His helicopter crashed into a lake and he did not survive.

He sold the dealership to RMC - a multi-brand dealership - and they have been going through a lot of changes. Some of the people are the same - but some are not (isn't it funny - the value of a dealership is the people, not the product).

As long as they don't lose Kevin (Buell tech) I will be happy.

I still do not know who took over Buell sales from Steve Swap. It would be a shame if they do not continue to support the Buell brand.

Just a bump because I like the gang over there. They are still big on the Buell brand and continue to carry clothing as well as the bikes. I believe Kevin is still there, great guy, always willing to give out info on how you can fix it yourself. Ronal in the sales department is more than willing to talk to you about Buells, and if he doesn't know the info, he will find out for you or get someone who does know. Be sure to swing by and check out the tribute Buell they built for Russ - if they haven't sold it yet, really nice bike.

I too have had good luck dealing with Downtown. I got my bike for $1000. less than other dealers wanted for the same bike. I'm talking about a XB9SX, not a 30K Harley. They're pretty cool to deal with. I have a dealership that is only ten minutes away from me too. I'd rather drive 35 minutes to Downtown.

My buddy bought his XB9S from Downtown, years ago, after I mentioned they had an advertisement in The Cycle Trader. I believe they were selling them for $7,000, when our local dealer down here in Oregon wanted $12,000. I haven't seen any of their ads in the Cycle Trader, lately, and was wondering whether they were still in business.

They are still here. The new owners are continuing to support the Buell brand.

We've moved!! As of 4/09.
Downtown H-D/Buell is now in Renton.
3715 E Valley Rd
425.988.2100

We are STILL dealing in Buells. We love them.
We have started the Buell Owners And Riders (BOAR) Group. We meet on the second Sat. of each month at the dealer. We discuss all things Buell. Kevin G.(KG)the Buell tech is present to discuss tech issues. We have Buell apparel and products on display. We get "BOAR bucks" good for discounts through-out the dealership. We have monthly rides, rain or shine.

ALL Buell Owners And Riders are Welcome.

BUELLIGANS Unite!!

I also love DHD - Kevin is still there - helped me with 8 updates to a 97S1 - very thorough and cares about his work - doesn't want to see you breakdown after he has touched the bike - I have bought two HD's from this dealership as well - Always treated very fair...would not go anywhere else

Took the salesman almost 15 min to talk to me, and another 30 min to find someone who knew about the BOAR situation here. When I met Kevin it was a whole different story. This guy rocks. Talked about whats and whozit. Looked at my bike and even did a quick tighten down on some things I didn't know were loose. Spent almost 45 min with me and didn't bat a lash. Moving from Hawaii to Olympia area I don't know too much about where and what, but I did figure out quick that this guy was the man. It is a 50 mile ride for me to get there, but when the service is right the miles don't count.
