I have done a search on LED's on this site - wow - almost TOO much info. Am hoping some of you can filter this down a bit.

I have an '00 M2 and an '04 XB12R. I want to have MUCH brighter lights on the rear (turn, brake, and running) and brighter lights up front (turn and headlights).

I am electrically challenged.... but don't let that stop you.

Thanks in advance - for suggestions on creating brighter see me lights.

Well, I'm convinced that you won't find a brighter tail light than the Heavycycles LED tail lights that we carry. They are available for both models, see http://www.americansportbike.com/shop/cgi-bin/cp-app.cgi?usr=51F7595892&rnd=7816 701&rrc=N&affl=&cip=69.160.135.44&act=&aff=&pg=prod&ref=9038&cat=&catstr= and http://www.americansportbike.com/shop/cgi-bin/cp-app.cgi?usr=51F7595892&rnd=8683 911&rrc=N&affl=&cip=69.160.135.44&act=&aff=&pg=prod&ref=16073&cat=&catstr=HOME

They aren't cheap, but they are bright and work well. They have integrated turn signals, but if you want maximum visibility, you can run them in parallel with regular turn signals as well. You can save some $$ by buying just the raw circuit card and doing the installation yourself, but the ones I linked to above are turn key that are already built, come complete with clear tail light lenses and can be installed in just minutes.

We have white, bright headlights for both models as well that use the same power but put out more light, see http://www.americansportbike.com/shop/cgi-bin/cp-app.cgi?usr=51F7595892&rnd=1616 120&rrc=N&affl=&cip=69.160.135.44&act=&aff=&pg=prod&ref=PROD299&cat=&catstr= and http://www.americansportbike.com/shop/cgi-bin/cp-app.cgi?usr=51F7595892&rnd=9914 201&rrc=N&affl=&cip=69.160.135.44&act=&aff=&pg=prod&ref=9501&cat=&catstr=

Note that Firebolt headlight reflectors do degrade over time, and after a while they aren't so bright. A brighter bulb will help, but the ultimate solution is to replace the housing with a new one that hasn't dulled its reflector to the point of uselessness.
