Anyone have raction grips on a CityX? Can you pop off the end caps to make them work.

You will have to cut the center circle out of the grip and trim it a bit larger to keep it from dragging on the bar-end.

There are 3 methods that I have heard of.
1) (I've done this) use a hot knife to cut the center out. X-acto makes hot knives
that you can get at most hobby shops.
2) (done this too) use a dremel to grind away the last bits for clearance.
3) Freeze the grip and saw it with a pumpkin carving saw. I've never done this, but
I've heard it works very well.

"Molded" might mean something a little different to me. They are still two pieces that can be separated.



Always meant to go back and clean up the glue...
