Well, I just returned from a 2437 mile trip to northern Virginia and The Dragon with a fresh set of Corsa III's that I wanted to provide feedback on.

First, they are awesome in the rain. Of the 2437 miles I rode, about 600 of it was in the pouring rain. They stuck like glue on the wet roads while hitting speeds over 70 mph.

On the Dragon and Cherohala Skyway the tires were fantastic too. Great in the corners once warm. I've got about a half centimeter of chicken strip in back, so I was using nearly all of the rubber.

As far as wear goes, they appear to be in great shape after that long 5 day excursion. They didn't flat spot like the Dunlops did after a short 300 mile trip to Hilton Head, SC last October.

All-in-all they are (IMO) great tires. And with the buy the rear and get the front free, they were a hell of a deal.

Where do you get a deal like that? It sounds Socialist to me. Therefore, I do not trust it.

It was a deal Pirelli offered as an introduction to this new tire. As I understand it, they have done this in the past with other tires. You provide proof of purchase of a rear tire and you are sent the front tire having only to pay for shipping.
