This may be a better area to ask this question. On the 1203cc engine what should the compressing range be?

It could be anywhere from 120 to 180psi as an average working guideline.

Compression testing is fine as a mechanics quick reference to cylinder performance, but if you really want to know the true performance of the combustion chamber a leak down test is the right tool for the job and nearly as simple as compression testing to do.
