I've noticed lots of great info on this site, so much so that I'm getting a headache digesting it all...
My question is this: I'm tired of the matte grey look of my muffler. It's a buell race ceramic coated. What are my options for changing the appearance without sacrificing (too many) of the coatings benefits.
Can I just paint over the coating with a very high temp paint? Powdercoat? Does anyone think this is a bad idea?
The ceramic coating is in good shape, just a few stains. Should I prep the surface with a LIGHT sanding? Thanks guys.
