Replaced rear pads on my 2006 XB12X, can't build up pressure. Anyone have procedure for rear brakes with photos? Also, should the black rubber boots on rear brakes have lubrication in them? Thanks.

John; you most likely have air in the system. Happened to me too a few times. Did you actually bleed the brakes?

Sometimes, for a good bleed, you'll need to take the caliper off the swing arm and move it around to get the last few air bubbles to where you can bleed them out of the bleeder nipple.

Hope this helps.
