I just bought my wife an 01 Buell Blast.The bike has 3200 miles on it, 850 of them in the last 3 years.When warming it up in the morning, if you let the clutch out with the bike in Neutral, it stalls. Once it is warmed up it runs great and can sit in neutral at a stop light. what can this be?

Joe, mine does the same thing. Its something to do with the kickstand safety system. Sit on the bike and raise the kickstand and see if it will idle in Neutral while warming up.
I haven't bothered to trace it down. I think something doesn't realize the bike is in neutral. My neutral light works, so either there are two neutral sensors or the information isn't making it to everywhere it needs to be. |

Check to ensure the kickstand is tight that can be the issue with the sensor I found mine loose and tightened it. I had similar issues with my lightning model( I realize different engine but you never know) and found if I give it 2-3 shot on the throttle after startup it runs fine. |

My 06 Buell Blast does that and I have solved the problems by giving it throttle several times after it is started, but before I drive off. If I don't do that, then it will die at the stop sign at the end of the street. |
