After stopping by a few local shops with no joy, I found a set of 7/8" risers on ebay for $50.

Again, the idea is to just drill the top triple-clamp and mount some bars I have lying around - I'm trying to achieve results similar to the Spiegler setup for less than $420.

They look like they should work. If they physically work, I may need to start looking for longer cables/hoses - hopefully Lightning parts should work if the stockers don't.

I'll update when the risers arrive.

Ed,

You might want to see if you can fit some clubman's bars on those nice looking risers.

That way you can keep your weight forward, whilst having a higher, more comfortable position.

Here are some Tomaselli Adjustable Clubman's bars on my Lightning to give you an idea of what I mean. Not sure if these would work on your 'Bolt, but it might be something to think about.

Looking forward to seeing your installation. Of all the mods I have made to my bike, getting the handy bars just right has always been a large pain in the neck.

There are a set of bars made for the Laverda Jota that are six way adjustable, like Gentleman Jons. Still available but I don't know any sources.

I got the Tomaselli bars from Cosmopolitan Motors in Pennsylvannia. The are around a hundred dollars or so.

There are some new versions of the Laverda Jota bars that I had on my old bike. The new ones are made by Raask in Denmark, and are a very poor imitiation of the original Italian bars made by Verlicchi, the people who make the Buell Frame. In addition to quality issues, they are a different size, and won't fit on a Buell without major surgery.

I still have the pair of original Verlicchi Laverda Jota bars, but they need to be rechromed, as some of the brazed joints failed, and had to be welded. I would discuss selling them to someone who wants to redo them

Used the OEM S ignition switch in stock location.
