well ive had my 04 blast for the summer and i just went to start it and it wont start, it turns over but nothing. it sounds like the carb is spitting or somthing there's an obvious leak from the carb. Any ideas or help would be much appreacated.

95% probability that your intake boot is cracked. (attaches carb to the intake manifold). #1 issue with the blast. $15 part. Be careful if you replace it yourself. Its easy to tear it during installation. You'll get it all back together and still have the same problem and you might think then it wasn't the Boot. But, it just means you tore it or didn't get it installed right.

Another thing to point out, as the Blast has no accelerator pump, a #45 pilot jet makes starting easier.

Easy to replace while the carb is off for boot repairs.
