The Buell site says the charging system has 494 watts @ max charging. My question is does anyone know how much of this is left for extra electrical gadgets like auxiliary lights, GPS and heated grips or heated jacket and gloves? Has anyone figured out how much the bike consumes on its own? Thanks

38 amps are available. you will NOT run out of power. for example i ran 1350 miles in 29 hours with continuous use of heated grips, heated electric vest, pair of 55 watt PIAA auxiliary lights and high and low beams on. the XB has plenty of electricity.
