I gotta say these guys went the extra mile for me big time. I was on my way out of town on a trip to California on my Ulysses. I stopped in to the Fife dealership to see if they had a tank bag in stock yet (nobody does, it looks like vaporware to me). I had the bike piled high with camping gear, so I had been mounting it like a horse, left foot on the peg, then up and over.
So here I am, 10 AM, they just opened, and as I swing my leg over the bike, the kickstand breaks and dumps me in the parking lot right in front of the Service Department!
I'm laying on the ground, laughing and cursing at the same time, and the door flies open and three guys run out. They picked up the bike, made sure I was ok, then ran it inside without even asking. This dealership had exactly one Ulysses on the floor unsold, and, needless to say, no parts for a kickstand on the shelf.
With no hesitation, they robbed the parts off the new bike to get me back on the road. I later realized that meant pulling the muffler on both bikes, and replacing the clamps, too! This was before the recall was announced (yeah, I got a letter). I was back on the road in about 3 hours, quite happy. When I asked for my bill, the service writer said, "No charge".
The kicker was, I didn't even buy the bike from them! They didn't know me from Adam. That has got to be the best customer service experience I've ever had, bar none! :-{)}

It's good to know we have a couple of good dealerships here in the NW.

My local H-D/Buell dealer, in Tigard, OR was called Destination, for awhile. Now it's Paradise H-D/Buell. Dunno who owns it, but they're pretty good people. They actually carry some Buells in stock, and park them right out front!

I have bought two new bikes from Destination Harley in Fife, an '02 XL1200s and my Buell XB12Ss.

I am not a big spender, do most of my own servicing, etc., but they treat me like a VIP - always helpful when I need free advice.

They are not a big Buell dealer, they had to order in the model that I wanted, but it was set up correctly and runs great, ... no problems.

The service guys were very responsive to me and had just rolled out an X1 before I got there. The parts guys ride/rode Buells and know the ins and outs well. Had to get a brake switch and the guy grabbed a screw driver and left the counter and put it on for me. Going the extra step saved me a ride home with no brake light. I really appreciate that and will use them again.
