Joe,

Can you get it in digital form and post it? If not, see if you can obtain the Winpep data file and email it to me so I can post it for you? Email to Blake at BadWeatherBikers dot com. : )

i am sorry that i have been away. the direct link on the stock ecm ran like crap...made great power as long as you were gassing it or above 3500rpm. we went back to a stock ecm and added a t.f.i. unit and with some minor adjustments it runs perfect again..i may have give up a couple of hp but it is definitely worth it to be able to ride around town without all the sputtering and coughing it was doing below 3500rpm... hey blake, i sent you the dyno chart..it made the most tq at 5100

Got it Joe. Nice!

The direct link should work fine. Are you aware that you have to be very careful/diligent to tune it so that in closed loop mode the AFV is right at 100 while tuning on the dyno? If you take it off the dyno and go run it and the AFV changes, it moves the entire fuel mapping with it. It can be a tricky thing. Al at American Sport Bike should be able to help.

maybe the direct link would work better with a race ecm...there were areas that the tuner wanted to change but was unable get into them and he thought he maybe could on a race ecm..dont know , just a guess...i know that it runs great with the t.f.i. and stock ecm ( at all rpms )

Sounds to me like your tuner may still have a lot to learn about using the direct link system. But if it runs great, that is all that matter. : )

" the direct link on the stock ecm ran like crap...made great power as long as you were gassing it or above 3500rpm. "

That is exactly what happened to me (twice). I ended up having Al at American Sport Bike down load the race ECM settings into my DL ECM which works well. But as soon as he starts selling his/Terry's MAP for the Drummer/12 set up I will be purchasing it. Al is making darn sure that the AFV creep is not an issue before he sells his which is exactly what is needed.

Frank

yeah, I agree with Blakes last post. Take it to Al @ American Sport Bike and he remapped my stock ECU to near perfection, see my post in this forum for my dyno chart.

My motto now:
You cant go wrong with Buell and a little bit of A.S.B.

So we have a new bad guy, the "AFV creep"? Got the initials, what is his full name? I wanna steer clear of this jerk. joker

Apparently Al and Terry have kicked his ass a number of times. Good to know.
