Does anyone know if the fan in the Ulysses is explosion proof? Do we need to wait until it cycles OFF before we open the gas and begin refueling? I realize it is a remote possibility, but I'm always right on top of it, so an explosion could be lethal.

I would'nt worry about it I have 13,000 miles on my 'bolt and never worry about getting lit up.

I think the probability of the cooling fan acting as an ignition source would be vanishingly small. you are probably far more likely to be taken out by a minivan driver.
