Will a Race Only ECM from an 2001 S3T work on a 2001 X-1? Does the aftermarket ECM work only on specific models or do they work on similar year tube frame models?

The S3 and X1 take the same Race ECM. Similar year will be interchangeable with DDFI bikes. If I am not mistaken, this is true of all tuber DDFI.
