My 2000 X1 has had problems over 4000rpm for about 2000miles now. It runs great under 4000 but after holding the rpms in 5th and then hard acceleration, surging occurs intermittently. My motor also likes to run hot sometimes.

Ive replaced the fuel pump filter and inline fuel filter, pressure pump/regulator.

Any ideas what else I could do.
