Hey guys, I have a '97 M2 and I'm debating between vortex clip-ons and the american sportbike clip-on style handlebars. Does anyone have experience with either of these products? I know with the clip-ons I will have to flip over the headlight bucket mounts, but what about the hard front brake line, does that need to be changed also? Any help/experience would be greatly appreciated here. Thanks again...

This a question about old bars. How important is it to have the bars precisely centered?

There is crosshatching on the middle of the bars on a Uly and if the crosshatching indicates the bars are off center about 1/8 or so will this have an effect on the handling at higher speeds? I don't know if this small difference would be meaningful at speed where the wind force on the mirror backs would have different leverage. Any comments or speculation?

Negligible effect, but easy to fix.

Do you imagine your hands are on the bars within better than +/- 1/8" tolerance from center?
