I installed them after riding a '96 S1 with a 2000 rotor and the same pads. Best grip I've ever felt. I have around 6000 miles on the pads and still going strong. The CP911 is the race compound, but is the recommended compound for Buell single disc front rotors due to higher thermal saturation rates. I have some unconfirmed info that the pre-Nissin Buell OEM compound was the CP905 Ferodo Race compound, which was the precursor to the CP911 compound. AL
