I have a fuel leak coming from the hose / nut that goes into the plate right at the end of the frame on the left side behind the heel guard..... is this the fuel pump?? I'm in the middle of a move right now and cannot for the life of me find my service manual. There is also oil leaking from the mounting bolts on the same plate,

what to do??

Found that I had this same issue today on my 07 XB9R (just passed 500 miles).

Any ideas?

Tightned the bolt holding the line to the pump and that seems to have helped but I don't want to over tighten it.

Any help would be appreciated.

It's not just overflow from the tank vent, is it? Had you just filed the tank (really full)?

No, there was actual droplets of fuel on the nut, and I could even see some that was dried on the swingarm after the days ride (140 some miles).

Hope to take her for a good ride on Wednesday to see if tightening the nut has helped.
