Just bought a near new condition white power shock dont have front mount for it. Currently have SNAFU late model showa(shaft is warn to far to recrome). Do I take it back,paid $350AU for it, cut reweld old mount so it is aprox 2" forward. Any suggestions? Im at wits end with riding a Vtwin pogo stick and money is 2 tight to mention.

You could try to find one of the old style front mounts. Should be plenty of them around what with all the chopper conversions going on over here. Put a listing on the Classifieds - Parts Wanted page here? Good luck.
