I have just bought a brand new set of Diablo stradas, still in the box. I am running pilot powers currently they grip AWESOME!!! I wanted to get more miles from a set of tires so I went with the stradas.
However
I am having second thoughts of even mounting them now.
What is the major difference I will notice. I know I sacraficed a little grip with the stradas but is it enough for me to notice???? I ride pretty agressive. No track days though. I like to try to push it in the turns I have scraped pegs a couple times. Should I be concerend about this with the stradas??? Please your toughts and experiences are greatly appreciated.

I don't think the difference will be dangerous. Obviously you are giving up grip to get extended mileage, but unless you are really wailing on the bike... I am signing up for a track school in July and will be running my Strada's and then plan on running them at Deals Gap. Now if money were no object I would be running Diablo's or Pilot Powers all the time and changing every 3k. But at $135 for a rear plus mounting of $10 I'd be ripping through some dough I could really use on other stuff. I think what you need is to hook up with someone who gets tires at "cost", just like that problem solved. NUTS
