first off.. i didn't get a service manuel yet, and it didn't come with the bike..

when it got here the clutch had too much play in it, so i tightened it and went riding. after an hour it was loose again, and not wanting to get into neutral all of the time. i backed it up more nearly to the end of its adjustment now. and i'm getting the engine or fuel injection (not sure which red light that is) when i pull the clutch in and the engine is off.

would you think thats the whole clutch having been fried, or maybe just a warn cable?

bike has 5k miles on it, and i'm not a first time rider or anything burning out the clutch.. any advice?

did you adjust the ball/ramp play or the cable adjuster ?

if the cableadjuster, i would think the cable is going to break real soon.

about the light, ? check the diodes ( 2 ) in the fusebox?
