Regarding an 06' XB9SX, what would be the result(s) of the primary oil being slightly overfilled?

I unknowingly overfilled my xb9s primary when I was using up two partial bottles of lube and I apparenty had the bike leaning to the right vs. level on my jackstands.

I had difficulty shifting and found the overfill condition to be the cause.
