I'm coming up on my first oil change on my 12X. From the looks of it the oil draining from the swing arm tank is going to go all over the muffler.

I'm asking others who have done this before what they did to divert the draining oil. Also what kind of mess can I look forward to with the oil filter removal?

Thanks.

David

Use a funnel to divert.

Or, cut a plastic half gallon jug in half and drape over the muffler.

Both work fine.

Good luck!

I use aluminum foil at both locations to form a oil shield.
