Anything new on this subject? I just bought a city x airbox cover and I'm thinking of removing the "x"

Al at American Sport Bike has removed at least one (that I got from him) so he may have some ideas about what works and what doesn't.

The X that I removed came off of a damaged airbox cover that was getting thrown away anyway. It's a LOT easier to remove the X if you don't care about the plastic surface underneath it. It was stuck on there pretty darned good.

Hmm....Maybe I'll keep it on. It's the X that I don't care about. Part of me thinks it will look kind of cool on there. I'll have to install it and see.

I would like the X if you decide you don't want it...
