OK, I messed up. Brought the Uly home from a long muddy ride. Hosed it off and hit it with some Greased Lighting then hosed it off again. Have done this to bikes for years without incident.

As the bike dryed I now have streaks on one side of the tank, odd.

What can I do to get those out?????

Outer airbox you mean?

Novus #2 and Harley Sealer Glaze work well for my 9sx airbox (which is a little different from your Surlyn airbox cover).

Nope, talking about the frame/tank on the sides of the bike, below the airbox cover.

same thing happened to my tuber when I used that stuff, hazed over my PM wheels and had to really polish to get the streaking out...Not sure what you could do to the frame/tank. could just be residue, try some dishsoap and real good scrubbing...

Actually non abrasive metal polish has worked the best. Wax, soap and Aluminum Wash did NOTHING.

I have some streaks on my casings from using degreaser on the engine... I'll try the non abrasive metal polish to see if it works.

Question I have is what are the Uly engine casings coated with?
