recently my x1 started ticking periodically, sometimes at start up, and other times after running for some time. I have been told that it may be lifters acting up. I have a patriot guard ride coming up this weekend that will take me 3 to 4 hours south. I was wondering if I need to park the bike, or if it will be safe to ride such a long distance. thanks
