Gday all,

Just picked up a 2002 M2 cyclone down in Australia, fully stock, and am gonna get new exhaust system. 2 options open to me here -
1. D&D full exhaust and forcewinder
2. Pro series race kit, but can't get ECM at the moment (is it necessary for either of these option?)

I have the euro gearing on my bike, so was lookin for more punch in low/mid.

Also who make the black header pipes?

IMO, the ECM will be necessary for both of those options. Horsepower and torque will most likely go down if you don't and there will be dips in performance through out.

No there won't its a carbed bike. The bike doesn't have a ECM. The M2 has as ignition module. That really just changes the ignition curve some and increases the rev limiter a 500 hundred rpm's or so. I Had the pro pipe on mine and it was a awesome pipe. But there is maintenance with that one as far as drilling out the rivets and repacking it. The D&D though is LOUD!!! and the mid-range is super strong with it. Nice part is no repacking ever. Both great pipes you'll need to jet your carb correctly to use either though.
