'05 XB12R 2000 miles on it. I just noticed that my brake light is not coming on when I apply the front brake only (rear works fine). I checked what I could and everything seems to be fine. Brakes and suspension are stock. Any suggestions?

Same problem. Just discovered today, and it was in service yesterday, and still under warranty. SO I am a little perplexed. Someone said that they simply unplug, and maybe the plug isn't making contact.

I had something similar happen after a tune up. The service tech tightened the screw that holds the switch in place. This screw needs to be backed out about 1 1/2 turns to allow the switch to travel open and and closed. Once I got the screw backed out the switch worked properly.
