How would you describe "no real trouble"? Just a bracket for the fairing mount?

Shadow,

The mounting brackets on the front stem used to mount the Thunderbolt fairing bracket don't line up with the XB bracket. The XB bracket's four mounting holes are narrower than the neck brackets and are closer together length wise.

If you mount a couple oversized strips/brackets of aluminum or steel to those mounts welded to the neck you'll be able to mount the XB bracket inside those strips/brackets. The length and width you use will dictate how much you can adjust the XB bracket. When you get it where you want it mark and drill.

It took a couple of attempts before I got it about right...I'm sure I'll make a few more adjusts to it sooner or later.
