I want to paint my Tail Section side rails the same as the Frame/Fuel Tank. - '06 XB12S The Buell parts catalogue doesn't give a colour for the Frame/Fuel Tank, but does say that the footpeg mount brackets are "Graphite Grey", which to me look the same colour as the Frame. What is the paint code for Graphite Grey? Is it a powder-coat standard colour? Can it be colour matched with an auto spraypaint? Is it available in a spraycan for DIY? (Would this look OK?) The XB9SX Tail Section is listed as Titanium Silver. Is this a darker colour that as stock may be closer to the Graphite Grey? Thanks to all in anticipation of your help. |

Thanks for that. I'll buy a can and try the DIY method. Hope it will match up OK and have a good finish. Cheers. |
