Anyone know the # of the "L" shaped bracket that mounts the Race Muffler to the stock "Z" bracket on a 99 S3T? | ||

Josh, try S0123.2c Muffler Mount I think this is the one you are looking for. | ||

José, that's the 2 straight straps that hold the race muffler to the engine. That's what you'd normally use. However, I borrowed a race muffler from a friend who had with it an "L" shapped piece which allowed you to use the "Z" It's possible the "L" wasn't a Buell part, it's also possible it was an S2 part. | ||

Do you have a picture of it? You might be right, it might be an old S2 part. | ||

I called Kevyn and he's not sure where it came from. It was with his Buell parts, looked like a buell part and fit perfect, but no one seems to have seen one before. Really worked good. By holding the Race Muff on with the Z it tightened it up and almost eliminated vibrations. I'll pick up the 2 normal brackets and if it doesn't seem as good I'll work on modding the Z. I'll also try to sneak a pic of Kevyn's S2 (which is currently hosting that race muff and bracket) |
