Does anyone know if the tranny gear ratios changed through the years in Buells or Sportys? I have a S2 tranny to put in my X1 motor and I was wondering if they were the same.

1st and 2nd are different. Takes a little getting used to, but sometimes I prefer the gearing in the S2 more than that in the M2.

2000 BUELL Model year, the gears were up-date to a little closer ratio ...
