Author Message   Jsunstar Posted on Friday, January 20, 2006 - 08:40 pm:        im looking to put a new pipe on my s2. i got a 98 s1w header so im looking at the 98-00 x1 wileyco version i assume. that should work right? i dont see one for a 98 s1w from them. anyway, anyone have any pros or cons about the wileyco can? please let me know thanks   Ceejay Posted on Monday, January 23, 2006 - 02:32 am:        I had one and like the sound, not too loud-I switched to force which has since made me deafseemed really well built gave a little more power and looked good. I still snapped a header bolt so make sure you have the updated front support as I didn't...overall I liked it but went a different route. The Wileyco site has different applications, but the V&H all use the same part #. Anyone know what the difference is?   Mikej Posted on Monday, April 10, 2006 - 01:44 pm:        WileyCo updated the hanger and front end of their cans, the newer one requires the use of the updated Buell exhaust isolator Y-mount and regulator plate associated with it. I"m not sure what their web site says though. I've got an updated WileyCo exhaust to replace my broken old-style one for the '00 M2 and I got a used Y-mount from someone on the site here, but I haven't had the time to put them on the bike yet so I don't know firsthand how well it'll all fit. Bomber, there was no p'footin' the old blown out one in my alley, rattled windows at 5am just a we bit. I always blamed it on the guy down the block saying he coasted down the hill before firing his up to avoid rattling his direct neighbors.
