My Blast's header has a rusted, off red look to it all the way down to the muffler. It was black when I bought it. How did this happen and what type of paint can I use to rectify this?

Duplicolor header paint looks good at first but will definitely "grey". looks better than "rust" tho...

Is there a better paint option at Auto Zone than the Duplicolor "grey"?

Yes...AutoZone carries VHT 2000 degree ceramic header paint in a "plethora" of colors
