I wonder if someone could help me with this. The tube frame style race header bracket (the one that is held to the header itself with a t-bar clamp)has a relatively short life. Vibration ends up braking it in a few thousand miles. I have just installed the last one I had stored and would like to acquire a couple new ones. The problem is that the part was never in the book and could only be found in the breakdown of the "race kit". This information is unfortunately no longer available, at least not at my local dealer.

Does anyone have the part number for this bracket?

Jmartz:

Do not have ENOUGH info for a PART NUMBER ...

Can you post a PICTURE of this bracket ???
Have some old RACE CAN INSTALL sheets, maybe
can find ???

If the tube frame EX. SYSTEMS are not intalled
just right something will get stressed and breake ...

Jose
Al at American Sport Bike has them.
They call them the "shoe" mount.

Look under the Buell exhaust section for your bike.
They're $39.95

Jmartz- I'm on my 2nd one in about 45k miles. If you're going through these in a few thousand miles (2-3) you might want to rehang your headers and muffler.

Best bet may be to mount everything loose and make all the adjustments until everything seems happy, then torque all to specs.
BTW I used 2 T-bolt clamps, one to hold it all together and another to keep that clamp in the right spot, still together after 10k miles and no cracks.
