Got some new bulbs, but I have having a hell of a time getting the lens cover off. I know, I am mechanically limited, but I figure before I break something I might ask for some help. Seems like there are 4 tabs that have to be depressed for the cover to slip off--but those things don't want to move. Am I correct about the 4 tabs being the key here and is there any trick(s) to getting this thing off? thanks for any help in advance. |

fresno -- I have absolutely NO experience with CityXs (so why am I answering, you ask? great question) -- but I beleive you should be approaching the problem from the rear of the headlamp housing -- on XBR series, there's a lil wire retainer that hold the bub in the housing -- if I'm misunderstanding, and you ARE goin in from the back, my apologies -- btw, owner's manual often shows how to replace bulbs and the like -- my M2 manual does . . . have you checked there? |

Thanks for the help. I have checked the manual and it didn't appear to have any help.. I will check it again and I will look in the back (no, I haven't been approaching from the rear) |

city cross should be just like the lightning, use the T27 from the tool kit, remove the (3) 1/4-20 torx screws holding the headlamp assmbley below the flyscreen. once you have the lamp housing in hand, you will have no problem seeing how the H7 bulbs come out. |
