I sprayed this wheel cleaner crap on my new XB. On the front wheel only but the over spray got on some plastics. I think it Containd some kind of corrosive sht. I rinsed it off then I noticed it had left discoloring to the plastic a little in the front fender and on the top of the chin spoiler.  Does anyone know if novus 2 is the way to go to remove this damage? Its a white hazey look. I think it looks like it ate at the surface of the plastic you cant tell to the touch but you can see it pretty well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have been thinking about working out the scuffs in my s3 tank, and working back to a polish. My ideas is to try using the Plastic lens polish to see how that works. Since it is designed to buff out to optically clear. I think it would be least invasive method to start out with. If you need to go deeper to get rid of it, there is rubbing compound or 600 grit, with a finish polish, but I like to start too fine first. | ||

Where do you pick up Plastic lens polish at? Got a recommended brand. Thanks | ||

I picked up Meguiars Plastx - Clear Plastic Cleaner and Polish. It cleaned up and took the fine scratches out of a out of production helmet shield and the Virago windscreen. Will try it on the S3 tank this weekend. | ||

I used meguiers scratch x on a very inconspicous spot and it surned the pad blue. I know old paint jobs on a auto will do this but new plastic shouldnt should it? Anyone ever just use wax on they,re plastics? I know its a Noob question but I would rather as than goof something up. | ||
