Here's a tip for restoring the like-new look to faded black plastic parts like turn signal housings, Firebolt fairing headlight bezels, scoops, instrument housings, belt guards, black wrinkle painted covers, etc. with a dry-to-the-touch satin finish dressing. After cleaning the plastic parts, apply Adam's VRT (Vinyl, Rubber, Tire) dressing. This stuff is like a moisturizing cream for plastics that is water soluble and UV protectant. But I wouldn't use VRT on MC tires, for obvious reasons.

I used some for the first time yesterday on my gray faded out Firebolt headlight bezels and today, in the sunlight, I'm pleased to report that they have that fresh look again after all these years. Adam's has a whole line of top quality car detailing products that work great on motorcycles. Check 'em out.
