For the paint and finish experts- Has anyone tried to apply a high gloss clearcoat finish to the gray swingarm and side frame on an XB? Want to shine it up, and seems like to get it the chrome look requires a LOT of work.

I've not seen anyone post who has clearcoated their frame or swingarm stock finish.

or you can take the parts off, clean them, have the bike down for 2 weeks, send them out to get chromed. And be happy
