Hi guys, I recently got a 2000 Blast, with 3000 miles on it for 2k. The problems with it are mainly cosmetic... the engine runs great.

So I need some advice on how to repaint, refinish the tank cover, fly shield, and tail end of the blast.

How can I repaint the plastic? Doesn't the paint simply just rub off?

I'm sure this is not the most "cost effective" method of fixing the bike, but it'll be an excellent learning experience, and I love the little guy. :-D

anyways, any and all feedback is more than I probably know!

Thanks!

How bad is the damage? Could you buff out instead of paint over?

its from drops... the scratches are fairly deep... what would be the process for buffing it out... maybe I can.

Can you give me an idea how bad the damage could be but still fixable by buffing?

Thanks!!
