Sorry to tell you that it won't fit either. There are a few differences between the S3 & M2 tail subframes. I'm not exactly sure what those difference entail, I just know that you can't use an M2 tail or seat on the S3. |

Thanx, Dennis, I just got an email from Adrenalin-moto. Matt over there says that ya have to cut the tail section off the frame, just behind where the two tubes meet, as this is the only real difference between the M2 and S3 frames, so after that it should go on. now if i could see the 2 frames side by side,I would know for sure. but that means there is hope, sure is a good lookin tail, might be a cool option for S3 owners, if i can get it to work. |

Trojan is correct again. The only difference is the very end of the frame loop on the S3 has an extra bit of tube to extend the seating area. Chop it off and you have the same specs as an M2. |

Actually no you won't you will not have mounting are for the tail light assembly that you'll need from a M2. |

I don't think i need it, the tail has the tail light unit in the tail itself i belive. My best bud works at a harley shop were the owner and the service manager run a buell drag bike , and have a ton of extra parts, even a couple of frames i think, so i might be able to compare the two. Wi -- measure twice, cut once, bud -- while they are very similar, there are a few more hard-to-see differences that may complicate your set up -- not sayin it won't work, just a little tougher than "Bolt-On" is all have you ever noticed that parts advertised as Bolt-on often require a lathe and arc-welder to install? ;-} |
