ok so we will give this a try. i am in the process of rebuilding my bike after my recent wreck and was thinking about getting a big bore kit for it if i have the finances left after the new parts. i know there has been talk before of some kits available, but i am wondering how big of a kit they actually make for my 9r. looking for the biggest i can do for a few grand. would love to get a increase to 100+. thinking like 110, 120 horses. any good info?

My bike is a "special one-off" build by Hal's Performance Advantage, it is now a 1250. They used an x-1 crank to get the stroke they wanted. It was built before the xb12 came out. Anyway with stock air box, K&N, snorkle removed, race ecm, ported heads and a jardine pipe it was turning 99.79 hp, and 86.86 ft-lbs.
I have yet to dyno it with cut xb12 airbox cover and cold air induction outer tank cover, but it should break the 100hp mark I would think. If not I'll have to look into a power commander to "fine tune" it. I don't know if this helps, but you should be able to get a reliable 100 hp out of your bike.

I forgot to add this to my previous post. It does not have an a/f ratio, well it does but I've never seen one that perfect so I'm suspicious of it. If you want a larger/clearer version I can e-mail it to you, but bear in mind this sheet was faxed to me and it is not the clearest image to begin with.

run conditions: 93.07 deg F, 29.15 in-hg, SAE: 1.09.

The dyno is in Milwaukee WI. I do not know when this run was conducted, but the bike had just over 2k miles on it when I got it so it is just barely broken in.
