Hi,
This is probably not the right place to post, then again maybe it is...
Anyway, went to PEP Boys today to pick something up, and as I went out the parking lot, some guy started asking me a lot of Q's about my 'Bolt.
He liked it, and we got into some V-twin vs. I-4 talk. Anyway to make a long story short, he showed me this box of oil additive called PROLONG. According to him it keeps engines much cleaner internally, and running a lot smoother. He also stated it prevent oils from burning itself up. Does anyone have experience with this product, oh yea, I read the box and it never mentioned motorcycle just listed some cages.
Post 'em please,
ADAM

hmm, I change my oil too frequently to put anything in it called 'Prolong'... heh. i have no answers but most of that stuff is snake oil in my eyes. run good quality oils, warm the beast up before every ride and change the fluids often. thats my strategy for a longevity.

DO NOT PUT PROLONG in your engine. shouting was intentional.
i strongly recommend using MOTOR OIL in your engine.

They used to sell a product called "Prolong" on the adult stations late at night. It's lubricity was said to enhance and prolong the orgasmic experience. Probably the same stuff. If you don't need it in your bedroom, it probably don't belong in your engine either.
