Author Message   Phillyblast Posted on Friday, July 12, 2002 - 03:22 pm:        Quick question. I just bought a 95 S2 that has a Supertrapp on it. I'm guessing it's not the recall unit. Should I be concerned? The pipe isn't showing any signs of wear/cracking. Any recommendations on another slip-on for the bike if I decide to replace it before it develops a problem? Any tell-tale signs I should be on the lookout for? I was wondering if there is a decent slip-on unit that fits the 95 S2s, since everything I've found lists for 96 and up.   Buelliedan Posted on Friday, July 12, 2002 - 04:24 pm:        I am running the V&H since this seems to be one of the only pipes left for S2s anymore. Safety wire seems a pretty good idea for the time being.   Jsunstar Posted on Saturday, August 10, 2002 - 11:42 am:        i am trying to find a good alternative exhaust for my s2 also. ive had very little luck. im trying to find out if there is a 2.5" header that will fit on the 95 s2's... anyone have any input on this??? i have used the supertrapp wide open, no disks. its loud but seems to work well. anyone suggest disks over none?? any other peoples info on a good exhaust for this bike is appreciated...
