Do rear cylinders tend to run a little richer than the front?

I've pulled my plugs several times in the process of putting about 1,200 miles on my M2. The rear plug is always darker than the front. The front is off white just going to tan and the back is a light gray to blue color.

The bike is stock, has about 3,200 miles on it. The slow speed jet has been changed a #45 and set at 2.5 turns, the intake manifold seals were just replaced, and it seems to be running great.

From what I've seen, yep.

As far as I know they will but I don't think it's a concern for most. I suppose checking the intake seal may be worth a try.

I don't know if it's right or wrong, I ran a slightly richer jet on the front carb on my XR1000. I'm not sure if Aaron W did on the LSR RR1000

Thanks guy, with a common inlet tract and one carb, I figured it was not a real concern.
