Author Message   Kinger Posted on Monday, May 30, 2005 - 11:08 am:        So it happened to me. I can usually get 20+ miles once the light comes on. I only got 13 this time. Managed to get to the top of the off ramp, coast down the hill and push it 3 blocks to a station. Once filled up, the bike ran rough, I figured that I needed to run it on the freeway for a while it it would reset the A/F mixture. So I made it to my dinner stop. When I left for home the engine light came on. The bike was sputtering and running rough. 40+ mile ride home and it didn't get any better. Any ideas??? Any one else have this problem? I am going to make a jumper today to try and retrieve trouble codes from the computer. I hadn't thought about the O2 sensor....thanks Bomber! The down side to moving, is that I don't have any scrap wire laying around. I have to go buy some tonight to make a jumper.   Kinger Posted on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 - 10:36 pm:        Bomber.....you da man! Made a jumper tonight at the cost of $85! Truck battery died at the hardware store after I bought a $0.12 piece of wire. Got trouble code 13 which is the O2 sensor. Part was ordered this afternoon as a precaution. Have fun at Homecoming, maybe I will see you at the races on Saturday. Bringing the whole fam damly in the cage.   Kinger Posted on Monday, June 20, 2005 - 11:16 pm:        Okay, So I fixed the O2 sensor and everything seems to be running good except, I can hear what sounds like the fuel pump or the injector "whirring", is the best I can describe it. Any thoughts???? It seems to run good. I need to check the plugs to make sure that I am not too rich or lean. As always, thanks in advance!
