I was adjusting my TFI, and noticed that if I held the RPM between 5500 and 6000 ( of course, not for too long) I would get the red pot to stay on. I then started to adjust till I had the smoothest RPM. My bike has an opened air box, Force exhaust, and snorkel removed. I just returned from a test ride, and the bike ran very good throughout the RPM range. I figured if it worked for the green idle POT, then maybe it would work for the others. Any thoughts on maybe running lean like this?

I don't think it works like that.

An engine under load will require more fuel. Revving the engine in neutral does not put any load on the engine so it requires less fuel.

I think the best thing you can do is take it to a deserted piece of road and testride it after every change. I asume you have a stock ecm so I would simply use the default settings from the instructions and adjust from there.

Thanks.
Just purchased an air/fuel meter. I'll try that.
