I have a 2003 XB9S and was looking to upgrade the seat. I kind of like the city x seat cause it sits high because i am tall, but thought that there is probably a better aftermarket seat. Any suggestions? Thanks

The Buell Streetfighter seat is a definite upgrade from the stock seat. It also is a "tad" taller than the stock seat and A Lot more comfortable. I'm running that on my XB9S. There are some on the board that don't like the CityX seat. Maybe you can make a trade with someone in the classified section. Then there's always the Corbin.

I just got the Corbin. It looks much better than my S seat. Haven't taken it out yet. I did have to trim the two rear rubber feet a little and I shimmed the latch bracket.

I have an unrelated seat question.

I have an 05 CityX. The seat is a real pain in the a$$ to get off. In fact, I currently cannot get it to release.
Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know of a solution?
